Notables: An outstanding athlete, who puts her heart into everything she does … Excellent athlete with superior, competitive instinct. 2005: Elected not to play in favor of playing soccer for UMass Boston and started every game in net as the team’s keeper. 2003: Established career-highs for win in both singles and doubles play … Owned an 11-6 mark at number one singles and a 10-7 record at first doubles for a combined mark of 21-13 … Named Little East Conference Player of the Week for the week of September 8-14 … Began the year by winning eight of her first 10 singles matches … Advanced to the LEC Tournament Flight 1 semifinals, before falling 7-5, 7-5 to Rhode Island College … Moved onto the Little East Tournament Flight 1 doubles semifinals as well, before succumbing 6-3, 6-3 to Rhode Island College. 2002: Enjoyed an outstanding freshman season, posting a 9-5 mark at first singles … Captured the Little East Conference Flight 1 Singles Championship after dropping the first set, she rebounded to win the second, 7-6 (5) and the third, 6-1, to avenge an earlier season loss to her Plymouth State opponent … Her 6-4, 6-3 victory in the conference semifinals also avenged an earlier season loss to her Rhode Island College foe … Earned Little East Conference Rookie of the Week honors twice, winning the honor for the weeks of September 9-15 and September 16-22 … Began her collegiate career by winning her first five singles matches … Put together a four-match winning stretch later in the season as well … Owned a 5-2 singles mark over LEC opponents for the year … Posted a 5-9 record in first doubles action for a combined 14-14 mark on the season. … Advanced to the Little East Tournament semifinals at Flight 1 Doubles before bowing to Plymouth State, 6-2, 6-3.
