2005: Posted an excellent freshman season, being named the team’s Most Valuable Player … Started all 15 contests he appeared in … Led the Beacons and was eighth in the Little East Conference with 10 goals … Ranked third in the conference with four game winning goals … Netted a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in his first career game against Fitchburg State College on September 6 and tallied at least one goal in five of his first six career matches, including a three-game stretch from September 17-22 … Netted two or more goals on three occasions.

Personal/High School: Attended Haverhill (MA) High School where he lettered four years for the soccer program … Earned Most Valuable Player honors three times and appeared in four All-Star games representing the Hillies … Majoring in Liberal Arts … Also enjoys fishing … Born June 2, 1985, he is the son of Henry and Diana Marin … Named UMass Boston Athletics Male Freshman Athlete of the Year.
